I’ve been rewriting half-finished fanfics from last summer (coming to you tomorrow, all through September and October), and I randomly decided to ask ChatGPT to write one of my original Bella/Darcy prompts. It actually did it. I have been laughing hysterically all morning.
If you ever want a giggle, ask AI to write you fanfiction. It gets some facts wrong (like Charlotte Lucas being “Mrs. Lucas”–what? and Elizabeth and Darcy meeting at the Netherfield Ball where Wickham is strangely present), but it’s incredibly silly! And ChatGPT takes itself incredibly seriously.
