As always, the usual pairings and usual fandoms.

Happy to be given a few rare pairs in Harry Potter. I’ve been rereading a lot of my old HP fanfiction and I’m in that kind of mood.

That’s not to say I won’t write Regency!Bella fics (P&P and/or Bridgerton).

I also wouldn’t mind some Hannibal Extended Universe prompts.

I’m hoping to write something chaptered.

All extra prompts I don’t get to in August, will be written in September and posted in October 2026.

Make the prompts as detailed or as simple as you like.

- Neville Longbottom in Bridgerton society (I’m thinking Neville/Eloise. Like he would totally support her independence and curiosity but also be a respectable match for her)
- Bella Swan/Eloise (Gambling Bella corrupting sweet mischievous curious Eloise)

I’m kind of wondering if you’d ever do a spin on one of your Secret Pureblood fics where a character struggles to leave the muggle world/doesn’t want to leave the muggle world behind? Perhaps …
- Harry finds out he’s pureblood, likely at the Wicked Stepmother, and goes to investigate the family history – was Lily his mother or someone else? He thought he was half-blood.
- Lily was still his mother and Lily was pureblood (also found out after a dare to enter the Wicked Stepmother)
- Her birth mother was the sister of Petunia’s (squib) mother and Lily was had out of wedlock. She was given to Petunia’s mother to raise and even with Petunia’s jealousy, Lily loves the parents who raised her too much to turn her back on them.
- Lily was at Stepmother in disguise for a dare, and is shocked at the level of acceptance shown there when she has a card. Because of the disguise people struggle to find her after she leaves.
- She’d tried to learn pureblood culture but due to the growing war, any acceptance she might have got in another decade she was denied; now she has a card and is proven pureblood, people change their tune: despite the potential benefits, she hates the hypocrisy and decides to keep the truth secret – only people who see her worth when they think she’s muggle-born will she bother with.
- Perhaps Harry finds out from Petunia, who knew Lily was adopted/her cousin and that’s part of her jealousy – she thought that if Lily were her sister she wouldn’t have magic either or they both would. Petunia and Lily are still related (cousins) so the blood protection works.
- Harry then has to decide how he wants to navigate the magical world – Lily made his life a bit harder by keeping her ancestry secret, but he too has faced judgement for being (seemingly) half-blood, and wouldn’t want people to change their mind on him for his ancestry (too like second year with the Heir of Slytherin stuff). He understands why his mum kept it secret.
- Perhaps the secret comes out anyway because of Rita Skeeter being nosy and then Harry is deluged with pureblood interest and he has to navigate what’s false and what’s real – what’s blood family reaching out (perhaps his maternal grandmother trying to reconnect?) and what’s people changing their mind because of ancestry. Harkening back to deciding who his real friends are.
I think it could also be fun with a Hermione who knew she was adopted and was loved and has conflicts about joining pureblood society after being treated so poorly as a “mudblood”. They change how they treat her not because it was wrong to treat her like that ever, but because now she’s “one of them”, meanwhile her family has always loved her.

I get that this is a very detailed prompt XD a lot of this is suggestions of options for a vague direction – I’m sure you could come up with fun lore for, say, Lily’s mother’s family, to explain the Whys and Wherefores of how things shook (and shake) out, who Harry’s then related to and the problems that could cause him. You might also choose to only do one part of this – Lily’s discovery of her ancestry or Harry’s – or choose to do both and have the story jump back and forth in time like with Monster in Me.

I missed the announcement and deadline for this prompt session, as my life has been unhinged recently (one dog just got diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on her leg that needs to be removed, the other dog is a pervert that betrayed me by eating my underwear and had to have abdominal surgery to remove it).

But even though prompts are closed, I wanted to wish you a lovely vacation and happy writing- I’ll look forward to reading your upcoming works. 🙂
