Characters We Have Seen Before

Lady Maia Gaunt – Lady Maia appears in Monster in Me (2019) as an alternative love interest to James Potter. She is the pureblood cousin of Lord Voldemort, being descended from Morfin Gaunt ((Lord Voldemort’s mother (Merope Gaunt)’s brother)).

Lord Roman Malfoy – Lord Roman pops up here and there. He was in Monster in Me (2019) and Sweetheart (2017/8). He is the younger brother of Lucius, Lord Malfoy. I don’t think that Lucius would have necessarily been an only child, just that his brothers or sisters weren’t important to the plot of Harry Potter. Just a thought. In this iteration, I imagine him as Matt Smith in House of the Dragon. If you need a visualization, go look him up.

Lady Lacerta Malfoy and Lady Iolanthe Malfoy – I came up with these younger sisters of Draco Malfoy in Of Power and Prestige (2012). I have used them heavily throughout my fanfic including The Middle Malfoy (Lacerta/Harry) (2012). Lacerta (Lacy) usually has a list of eligible bachelors and is two years younger than Draco and Harry. Iolanthe (Io) is sweet and everyone worries she’ll end up in Hufflepuff. She is five years younger than Draco and Harry (and three years younger than Lacerta).

Lady Lux Kingsley – Lady Lux first appeared in The Death Mist (2014) and then in Winter’s Light (2015) as the niece of Lucius Malfoy and the godsister/wife of Sirius Black. She was named Lux (Latin for “light”) after her uncle Lucius (Latin for “light”). In every fic except Monster in Me (2019), she has already been deceased. She is usually a dark leaning witch (being a Kingsley and a Malfoy) and possibly a spy. She is the mother of Lycoris Black (Harry Potter) or in alternate universes Imbolc/Imogen Black.

Madeleine Kingsley (born Madeleine Malfoy) – a character we never see but who is referenced, she is the mother of Lux Kingsley and the much older sister (by fifteen years) of Lucius Malfoy. She first referenced in The Death Mist (2014) and Winter’s Light (2015). She was a spy for the Dark Lord and ended up in Azkaban.

Madam Apricot Crouch (born Apricot Selwyn) – a minor character from Monster in Me (2019), but I do so love the Selwyns. Apricot appears as a best friend in Slytherin when needed. Btw, the “A” is long. AAAApricot.

Sacred Twenty-Eight

In this fic, I have the Sacred Twenty-Eight hold lordships instead of “the four lords” which I helped create in Of Princes and Fireflies (2009). The four lords have historically been in my fics Lord Black, Lord Bones, Lord Malfoy, and Lord Prince. In early stories with Elle Roche, Lord Bones is replaced with Lord Prewett. 

Lord Peter Wimsey

Lord Peter Wimsey is a gentleman detective created by Dorothy L. Sayers who solves mysteries. He lives and solves mysteries in the late 1920s and 1930s (into the 1940s in continuations). I love the Harriet Vane mysteries (who is his love interest) and am currently reading Strong Poison. I highly recommend especially if you want a laugh. All of Lord Peter’s cars are named “Mrs. Myrtle.”
